Sorry, I don’t know, I live in Los Angeles county California. When I researched it, I understand that it is supposed to get full sun to partial sun and that it does not do well in cold weather. I got mine in the fall. It got a lot colder this winter and it started to loose leaves, so I brought it in the house by a window. It lost all its leaves. I have since took it back out about 2 weeks ago in full sun. Everything else has gotten new leaves and flowers, but it still has only the vine which still looks green. I hope it will start to grow soon. I will update my answer when that comes.
