Genuine manufacturer's spare part for the Fastrax Electric Roto Torque Start. Ideal if you have more than one nitro car and don't want to buy another complete electric starter. The backplate features a specially designed 'slip' unit to avoid possible damage should the engine lock up. Could be used with other type of electric start that use a standard 6mm hexagonal drive shaft. * Suits SH / Force engines but not the Big Block .46 * Requires a 6mm hex drive shaft for operation * Distance between centres of ing holes is approximately 27.5mm measured from side to side and 39mm measured diagonally. * Centre hexagonal housing size for one way bearing assembly is 12mm, measured across the flats * Approximately 18mm maximum width. Please note that the big advantage of this design of backplate is that it follows that of the majority of manual pull start assemblies so access with the drive shaft should not be a problem. Please check the dimensions given above to make sure it will fit your engine crankcase.
