Matt White polyethylene Labels These labels come on sheets of thick polyethylene with a matt finish and a permanent adhesive backing. Compatible with laser and inkjet printing. Due to their material and adhesive these labels are incredibly durable and 100% waterproof, when printed with laser printing. Inkjet print is not waterproof. They have been tested by being submerged in salt water at mid-tide for 3 months, this means they conform to the BS5609 standard for marine immersion. These particular labels work well on any solid surface, they were designed specifically for the curved surfaces of drums so they are the toughest labels we have. Other labels have a sort of "memory" and will try to return to their flat shape over time, polyethylene does not and will hold its form. The polyethylene material is a slightly off-white colour but is more pliable than polyester labels. These labels are quite spet, if you only require some of these features, we recommend our Matt White Polyester Labels (MWP). They are a brilliant white colour, just as waterproof, not as thick and for flat surfaces. * Before using any self-adhesive sheets through any printer, read the printer manual and follow the manufacturer's instructions. * Never feed sheets through twice or use when a label has been removed. * Always gently fan the sheets to remove static. Because of the wide range of printers and technologies in use, the use of this product is outside of our control. Therefore, these products are sold on the clear understanding that the user has independently checked the product for its suitability for the final purpose of use and for the printing system used.
