## Description

One woman's worst fears come to life in the third novel of the Devil's Night dark romance series by New York Times bestselling author Penelope Douglas. Sending Damon to prison was the worst thing Winter could've done. It didn't matter that he committed the crime or that she wished he was dead. Winter thought he'd cool off in jail and become anything but the horror he was or that, at the very least, she'd have time to disappear before he got out. But she was wrong. Three years came and went too fast, and prison only gave him time to plan. And while Winter anticipated his vengeance, she didn't expect this. He doesn't want to make her hurt. He wants to make everything hurt. Damon knows he needs to get rid of Winter's father, giving Winter, her sister and her mother nowhere to run. The Ashby women are desperate for a knight in shining armour. But that's not who's coming. It's time Damon took control of his future. It's time he showed them all that he will never stop being the nightmare they think he is. Damon won't have to break into Winter's home to do it. As the new man of the house, he has all the keys. **Kill Switch is a STANDALONE dark romance with no cliffhanger. It is suitable for ages 18+**

Review: Fantastic - I rated this book 5* due to the incredible plot and the twists and turns this book includes. Also, for the characters and their character developments.. but mostly because of Damon Torrance himself... he's my favourite, alright... Damon is definitely a more complicated character than were first lead to believe he does everything for a reason, and it all serves a purpose one way or another. He's definitely very protective, and towards the last part of the book, it's definitely something beautiful to read, even if it isn't to begin with. He's definitely been through way too much, and he's a relatable character for me in some aspects of what he's been through. It's interesting to see how it's all shaped him from his attitude to the way he carries himself, but the character development, oh my... I wasn't expecting it, but I am living for Damon to be his best version. Winter is a character who definitely annoyed me to begin with, but she was interesting to read about, with the way she sees everything without the ability to see it. Her character development was good to read, too. She's definitely become a stronger, more confident character. Will is also becoming more and more interesting due to his relationship with Damon and how he's trying to deal with the trauma left over from the first book. He's definitely out of his shell more with Damon. They both push each other. I'd recommend this book (and series) to anyone who isn't put off by the triggers as this book definitely covers more darker topics, more so than the previous book. However, the sweet parts of this book where Damon is himself, definitely make up for it... he's a sweetie, really.
Review: Definitely did not expect - Honestly I was dreading reading this story after Damon in the last two stories but I believed he should have his story told. I am so glad I read it in the end. The book brings in moments that make sense as you continue to read but shocks you. I didn't think some of their friendships had stuff happen like it did that shocked me. I am very interested in Will's story next.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kill Switch

I have loved every book in this series so far, and this one is no different. I was pulled back into the life of the Horsemen right away. Damon has been a favourite of mine since Corrupt. I knew there was more to him, and we get to see that in this book. He is still just as calculating, evil, and downright nasty, when he has to be (and sometimes when he doesn't). However, in this book we get to find out more about the reasons why he is the way he is. Winter hates Damon, with a passion. She thinks he is responsible for most of the bad things that have happened to her and her family. Damon maintains his hard exterior, while slowly chipping away at Winter. He tries to show her that everything is not always as it seems. This is when we start to see the real Damon. At the end of every book in this series so far, I have been left desperate for the next book. This one is no different. However, these books are worth the wait. The story is well thought out. The suspense has you turning pages long into the night. The character development is perfect. Although this story is focused on Winter and Damon, the rest of the gang all make a significant contribution. Along with all the suspense, there are a few twists and turns to add to it. At the end of every book in this series, I have been left desperate for the next one to be released. This one is no different. However, the books are always worth the wait. Each storyline is well thought out and the suspense always has me turning the pages well into the night. I can't wait to see what Penelope Douglas has in store for Will.
