Teletubbies Go! is a complete music and movement session designed to help children develop spatial awareness, body image, control and coordination. Each Tubby demonstrates a different movement that is then repeated as the others join in--all, of course, accompanied by catchy music and much infectious giggling and interspersed with "Big Hugs". Laa Laa leads the way with "Stretch Up High" and more on-the-spot exercises, such as "Stand up, Sit down", "Stand on one Leg" and "Side to Side", follow. These movements are designed to loosen up participating toddlers and are succeeded by a series of "walk-about" exercises including "Marching", "Skipping" and "Dancing"--the dancing Dipsy is a joy to behold. There are also several bouts of "Jumping" which are impossible to resist and will have both children and adults pogo-ing around the living room. The video ends with a ing game, providing the children (and adults) with a chance to cool off and calm down.
