Very easy you just throw the dice add the 2 amounts together and move according. Found this great to help my son with basic sums addition and subtraction.

No you don’t need batteries at all. It is a fabulous game and myself and daughter have had a lot of fun with it and it is educational at the same time. Highly recommended.
