Amazon Brand - Wag Adult Premium Nutrition Dry Dog Food, Supports Stomach and Skin Health, Beef and Brown Rice, 30 lb Bag

My gsd/husky mix is a picky eater and has quite the refined palate. She absolutely loves this dry food, and I’m honestly impressed with how it has actually passed the test of time. For reference, I mix dry food with a rotation of wet food (or sometimes with Trader Joe’s unsalted sardines) + a beef crumble topper. She normally becomes bored easily with other dry food varieties. She is always excited for this dry food (she half hops and does a cute happy dance!) and likes to eat it plain (before I have the chance to mix with the wet food and topper). I also appreciate the high quality, price and cleaner ingredients (compared to many other dry food brands). I was once hesitant to try Amazon brand dog food, but I am so happy that I gave it a chance!

Good Food for the Price

Food is great for my dogs, hasn't caused any sickness or anything. Just be nice if it didn't take 4+ days to be delivered as it sometimes says it would be delivered sooner.

I’ve been using this food for my dog for at least 3 years now. He’s never gotten tired of it (rotating flavors helps). He’s almost 6 & I’ve never had to take him to the vet for any health issues other than his vaccines & yearly check up visits. I’m not saying the food is the reason for that, just saying it hasn’t caused him any issues. I think the ingredient list is pretty solid for a kibble & you can’t beat the price compared to other high end kibbles on the market. Wag sells a 30 lb bag for $60 compared to other kibbles who sell a 22 pound bag for at least $70. I wish they’d come out with a duck or rabbit recipe!

My dog loves this food, and I feel good feeding it to him because the ingredients are clean and simple. It’s a great value for the quality. Best part? They deliver the giant bag right to your door, no more hauling it from the store. So convenient!

I really tried to like this food, I gave it a couple of bags before I quit it. But the first thing I noticed was the change in my dog's smell. He started to smell like a dog that was in a kennel, and that is not the case. Also his coat felt "oily". It did not feel as soft as it normally did. The third this I noticed were his stools, they became larger and more frequent. Which told me he was not using the food as effectively as before. Also with Bull Mastiff/Pit Bull mix, at 100#, the passing of gas became much worse! There was a big difference between the brands of food. I have since switched back to Diamond Brand and we are happier again.

Thought I’d give Amazon dog food a chance as I’ve had good luck with many Amazon brands,, my dog wouldn’t touch this kibble , even after pouring bone broth over it … have bought a few high grade kibble in the past and my dog has enjoyed most of them ,, had to throw in the creek a 30lb bag ,, hope the deer will be happy with it !!!!
