One of our favorite games to play as a family! It is fun and easy for my 10 and 12 year olds to play along with. Pretty quick so we are able to get a few games in. Lots of different cards, I don’t think we have come by them twice yet!

Before purchasing this, I had played Apples to Apples exactly one time. It was at least 4-5 years ago, but I will never forget it. For some reason, The Common Loon was hands down my favorite card and I would choose it 80% of the time it was played while I was judge. This box set is both good and bad in my opinion. There's a ridiculous amount of cards, meaning there's potential for many amazing and hilarious combinations, but on the other edge of that sword is the fact that there's way, way more potential for combinations that make no sense, giving you terrible hand after terrible hand. If you play to win, you shouldn't play. The main satisfaction derived from this game is playing with a large group of people and having 30% of the cards played be delightfully funny. Can I fault the game for these perceived transgressions? No. This game was made to be playable by a large age range, and I think it is. Other notes: they've added to the rules from what I remember. It doesn't matter, you can play however you want, but the new set of rules feels convoluted. Maybe I just played the wrong way the first time. I still love this game.

Good game, shame the courier left it outside in the rain.Glad the cards are wrapped stayed dry and we only had to tape up the box. I like the fact that it can be played fairly quickly by a large, mixed age-group - not too many games do that effectively. I love intense, skill-based competitive games, but equally, I love games that are just fun and which have nothing to do with the skill of the player - apples to apples is one of the latter and well-worth having in the games drawer. At times we've played it in teams, with an older player paired with someone younger who may struggle to play by themselves, and that works well too.

Great game! I like that you can play with as little as 3 or with a large group. Fun for all ages.

Played this game at my sisters house. We loved it so much that had to order it. I got a very good deal on this game. My sister payed over $20 for hers and this one was $16. The green card you can pick between 2 words. Others had only 1. Doesnt get old. You do need to have more then 2 players.
