Fun Fun Fun!
Out of all the X-Box games we have, this one is always fun! It keeps you laughing as you can ad lib lines as you watch yourself in scenes from hit movies! My Son who is in 2nd grade loves this! My friends and family love it to! You can just sit and watch and have a great time! I really wasn't expecting much from this but I have to say, We were blown away! If you have Kinect and don't have this, you are surely missing out!

Very misleading advertising
When I first heard about Yoostar2, I was really excited. After viewing the promotional video clips, I was even more excited. When you watch the promo clips you are given the impression that when you buy and play the game that the video clips you produce are going to look like the promo clips. WRONG. Your videos are not even close to the promo clips. The video images are pixelated and poor quality and the audio is not that great. In my opinion, the makers of the game recorded the promo clips in a studio with a hi def camera and studio quality lighting. They definitely did not use an xbox/kinect to make the promo clips. The manufacturer of the game should have put a disclaimer on the promo clips telling prospective purchasers that a xbox/kinect was not used to make the scenes. Some people have indicated that there is something in the game manual about lighting. The problem is that you need to buy the game and open it to see the manual and then it is too late to return the game for a credit or refund. The game is a fun game to play if you don't care about the quality of the clips that you produce. However, I would not want to share poor quality clips on Facebook or Twitter for my friends to see. If you want to verify what I am telling you, go to youtube and view the promo clips and then watch the clips made by people using an xbox/kinect and you will have to agree with me. Yoostar, you guys should really be ashamed at misleading the public.

Meh. It’s ok
It takes a lot to get this to work (Kinect, external storage and because they’re out of business and don’t update the software it has to be Microsoft Xbox external storage) and once it does work the green screen effect is below average at best but it’s fun for a go round now and again

Yoo need a green screen!
Ok, so i first heard about this game about 2 weeks prior 2 its release date so i pre-ordered it and received it on the day of its release. The way the makers advertised it made it look like yoo would actually blend in with the movies but that's not the case. I'm not complaining because before purchasing this game, i had also saw videos of it that showed how it would look without a green screen and fancy lighting so i kinda knew what i was getting myself into. I took a chance anyways and noticed that i didn't fit well into the movies so i took it upon myself to purchase a green screen. I saw a cheap one on amazon for 20 bucks but the stand that holds up the screen was about 60 dollars so that's 80 dollars right there. So i started searching a little deeper for a better bargain and i noticed that the first Yoostar game that was released on PC only cost 48 dollars so i bought it but not for the game but for the 6' by 6' green screen and portable quodpod it comes with. I figured I'd be saving myself around 25 to 30 dollars alone just to better my experience with Yoostar 2. I think it will be worth the investment. Not to mention the game, the remote and the camera that comes with the bundle. I have Windows Vista and i read that Yoostar 1 won't work with Vista so i may not be using the extra goodies. I might just sell them or give them away. My main focus is the green screen. I haven't received it in the mail yet so i can't give a full review on this game but if the green screen will keep the white outline from appearing around my image, i guarantee i will have alot of fun with this game and I'm sure yoo will too. I've noticed the Yoostar 1 package has been slowly selling ever since the release of Yoostar 2 so I'm sure I'm not the only one going after that green screen so go pick up Yoostar 1 now. Before yoo guys bash the game, get a green screen first and if u have alot of lighting, that will help as well. I will review this game again after i receive my green screen so for now, i will give this game 4 stars just because i think it's pretty neat how they can take the actors out of the scene and because it's so hilarious to ad lib with some of your favorite actors/actresses and friends and family.

Great idea, but marred by technical problems and very limited selection
This is a fun party game (I couldn't imaging doing this by yourself) but there are only 3 or 4 two-player scenes. In those, usually one person does all the talking and the other has one or two lines. I won't discuss the video quality, but that's really not an issue for me. The problems lie in it's (mis)use of the Kinect sensor. If two players are in view, it seems to get very "confused" about controlling the cursor, and it's impossible to navigate the menu. We kept needing to shoo people out of sight while selecting scenes to perform. The most glaring error/problem is that since I'm 6 feet tall, and my wife is only 5 feet, she can never be "in-frame" unless she stands on a box or something. That I can forgive, since there's really no way around it. However, when just taking turns doing single player scenes, it keeps tilting the kinect sensor up towards the ceiling. It got to a point where even I had to jump up on a stool to be seen. I ended up needing to open the kinect tuner after every scene to re-adjust the tilt of the camera. Very frustrating and annoying.

pretty terrible
The idea is great but very few scenes from each movie to choose from and they are normally not the best scenes either.
