Fly Tying Thread

A little tricky to work with at first. Definitely will take some getting used to the “stretch”. Granted, I’ve only just finished one fly moments ago. But I like it! Lays really flat, tightens well, knots well, and took head cement and epoxy nicely. To be fair, I’ll truly test it tomorrow amongst the rocks and surf of the Atlantic. All in all, on streamers or saltwater flies I’ll definitely use it again. On more precise nymphs, I wouldn’t recommend.

I needed a couple different colors for tying salt water flies and this set had what i needed. The thread performed as well as uni-stretch, at a much lower price. Even if you don't use all the colors, it is still a good value.

The product was not what I expected but that is because I did not adequately read the entire listing. I gave it a 5 rating because the product is of good quality and because will still be able to use it in my fly tieing. Although an unintended addition I now have a greater selection for use.

Wow! This is the stuff. This thread does it all. I love the elasticity that allows me to pull tight and get a sleek finish or loosen up, and use my excess like dubbing in a way. I'm a Tenkara fisherman and tie kebari, but this would be great for western flies as well. I wouldn't recommend this if you're trying to keep thread off your hook, but I love how it works for me. As you can see in my picture, both colors of thread are the same type of thread which goes to show its versatility. I highly recommend this thread for beginners and for those that break thread constantly. This is tough and will not break! I have to say it again... WOW!

I really love this product. Great value, thickness and strength. You can even pick it apart with your bodkin and use it as dubbing. I've tied size 6 Streamers down to size 16 nymphs with no problem.

To thick can’t get it in the bobbin

Great assortment for price. Would buy again

Works great, strong & lays nice, adheres with glue very nicely.
