The question customers always ask and the answer as below? How long does it take to set up? Are the balloons already ed on something to form the garland?
It took me approximately 30 minutes to set up. The balloons are not ed. You have to blow them up individually, then layout the garland strip and finally arrange the balloons. I had an extra pair of hands to hand me the balloons to place on the garland but other than that I did most of it myself.
How attach the balloons to the garlant?
It's pretty easy- there's a long plasticy strip provided and it has little holes to pull the balloon ends through, and they stay very well! This was a super cute set!
do these ballooons float like they would if helium were used in them?
The “boy or girl” foil balloons do not float with helium (this is the same nationwide). They are “air fill” only, you can inflate them with the hand pump that is provided as part of the kit. You can use scotch tape and make them double sided tape to tape it on a clean surface. Or you can use a ribbon or string to loop through the balloons on top (balloons have small loop holes for ribbon) and hang them somewhere.
The latex balloons do not need helium either. There is a few extra feet of balloon garland tape for you to use and tie, tape, or hang on a surface using 3M command strips to hold 1lbs+. You can inflate the 11inch balloons with helium, but it wouldn’t make the garland float as the 5inch balloons would not float with helium.
Be assured that this kit only needs air, using the hand air pump provided. (Saves you money on helium). Just hang your decorations to get that floating effect!
