Sika Multiseal SG is a self-adhesive bitumen, modified bitumen, without armor, provided on one side with a lacquered aluminium sheet and on the other side with a removable silicone plastic protective film that can be applied without fire. It is used as a sealant and repairer to prevent water ingress and/or leaks for repairs of roofs including metal sheets, cracks in buildings, bituminous sheets and other types of cover finishes and endings, gutters. Application method: Loose or poorly adhered particles, grouts, paints, must be removed for proper use of the product by manual or mechanical preparation. Metal, plastic supports must be solvent-cleaned. On porous supports (mortars, plasters, etc.) it is recommended to primerate with a bituminous emulsion. Allow the primer to dry for at least 1 hour before placing the band. Cut the required length of self-adhesive strip, remove the protective film and press the strip firmly onto the support with a roller. All joints on the joint must overlap a minimum distance of 50 mm. Adhesion on the support can be increased by applying heat to the strip with a hot and dry air equipment. The product is not recommended for sealing kets with pressure water. Due to the bituminous content of the band, paints, plastics and natural stones can be faded.
