Titanium grade 1. Grade 1 titanium grade (material number 3.7025) is the purest standard titanium. It is characterised by the lowest levels of oxygen, hydrogen and iron, which makes it the best malleability of the four pure, commercially available titanium wheels. Titanium Grade 1 is therefore used especially where maximum malleability is essential, e.g. cold deep drawing. As a cast material, it is also used as a filling in dentistry due to its physiological safety.
